So your hands don't get contaminated by sweat and food, duh.

Nice!

It's like when people ask me "Why don't you wash your hands when using the bathroom?"

I do. Before. My hands are much filthier than my junk.

I generally avoid Chilis, Applebees (Craplebees), Ruby Tuesday, etc.......

That said, if I have to go I can usually find something I enjoy well enough.

I really dislike Chili's myself. Not only is it just another chain restaurant, it's not a very good one. Perkins is a much better alternative.

I've never liked Chili's. For whatever reason it feels like Cali food to me, and that is disgusting as far as I'm concerned. Its also one of those places who offers ranch with everything. *puke*

:? I also find it weird that all of you are so open about going to Strip Clubs with significant others, yet have trouble talking about sex in your families (far from that in mine), and that you all have issues with family popping in. In my family, its always welcome to pop in.

Yay I fixed a video card by replacing the burst caps.

Unfortunately it's been sitting on my bench since November 2010 when I got the caps, so I really don't need it now and it's going right on my PC parts pile. Oh well.

We ended up going to Mellow Mushroom, a one time single place turned chain.

You know those glass shaker jars for Parmesan cheese and red pepper? Of course you do. Well, after sprinkling a bit of cheese I found the shaker had another purpose: it housed a live housefly.

I didn't flip out, but the mostly female staff went ape shit creeped out when they saw it (and passed the jar around like a hot potato). A fly in a jar of cheese, living the life.

Stuff like this always seems to happen when I dine out with the in-laws. I don't want to say anything, but I had to. The meal, drinks not included, were comped and since family was involved I kept it close with the manager...but had it been a date night out with my wife I would have been furious. Why? Because the manager's excuse was "I'm sorry, but I can't control the pest population".

This isn't controlling the pet population, this is keeping bugs out of food.

Fudge it. Anyone who pays $20.00usd for a small pie probably deserves a bug in their food. Doesn't mean I'll eat it. Fly me once, shame on you. Fly me twice...I can't get flied again.

Fine by me too, if alerted beforehand.

I may or may not have poker games that last for days on end. And a One! I don't want to be seen after three sleepless nights. And a Two! I can not have a game interrupted without warning. And a three! Planned plans are planned for a reason.

I forget what movie that showcases this scene, but in short a guy knocks on a door.
He is greeted with the peep hole being opened and "Who the fuck is this?"

The guest says "It's John", or something to that fact.

Behind the door the guy says "Fudge you (but he doesn't say fudge)" and closes the peep hole.

That's how I feel about unexpected guests who only stop by to stop by.

Time at home is the most valuable time you have on Earff (besides the time you spend at strip clubs). It's my house. Ask before you enter. Who's house? Luke's house.

In my house, its always been kind of an open door policy. If we're home, you can drop in, friend, family, whatever. As long as you aren't drunk or fleeing the cops, its good. (In certain cases we might accept fleeing the cops, but we need a call first in that case.) I personally don't care who stays the night or anything really.

'Course, saying that, my family isn't that big and we don't have many friends, so it really isn't as big an issue for us.
