I agree. I tried to change servers, but it kept going back to that one. And I actually have the highest speed they offer in my area right now.
Weird StuntDouble, when I lived down in Quantico, we had Verizon, and it wasn't nearly that slow. Hell, even when we had comcast in the early 2000's, it was still quicker than the speeds you're getting. Are you out past Manassas, and closer to the mountains?
Not bad. $60 for Cable and Internet/month is satisfactory.
Blu, I'm actually out near Virginia Beach, on the Eastern Shore. I don't know why it chose to use Manassas for the speed test, but it wouldn't let me switch to a different server either.
Actually pretty fast for Straya. Uploading HD video to Youtube on that upload speed is way fun.
At the moment Australia is in the process of getting fibre installed though, which promises up to 1gb/s. Can't wait for that, although my area isn't scheduled for it until around 2015+
I upgraded too, to Hughesnet's Gen 4 service.
Much better download speeds than before, but those upload and ping rates. Plus I'm capped at 20gb per month, which is better than the 425mb per day cap I used to have but still restricts my online activities. I can blow through several gigabytes a day when I'm on a tear or installing something off Steam.

You guys ready for this. I finally got DSL in the woods in 2010. Up until then I could only get dial-up. I still think this feels like lighting compared to dial-up.
