Re: What are you playing?
Eh, less is more I say. I thought Halo 2 just had a bunch of unnecessary crap in it. I didn't care about the Arbiter's side of the story. Some of the weapons and the dual wielding stuff ruined the multi-player as they were so over powered. Plus, I was one of those people who thought the ending was lame. Further proof that the series was becoming all about the multi-player, which should always be secondary to the single player experience in my opinion. Lastly, nothing in the game was as cool as the demo that had been floating around on the net before the game's release. I quit the series after that game. Granted, I wasn't a big shooter guy anyway so it wasn't a big deal. It was really some friends of mine who had talked me into playing the original Halo and then later trying Halo 2. They were kind of disappointed with it too, but still sunk hours into the multi-player, which I quickly tired of.

The first one was the only one I truly liked. The second one I thought was 'alright' but I havent really liked them after that. Something about the rest of them just seems off. It feels less like fun and more like a chore to me.

I picked up a copy of Arkham Asylum GOTY on the Xbox today for $10, I think I can honestly say this is the best $10 I ever spent, I can't wait to start Arkham City after this and just saw gameplay for Batman Origins and I'm even more excited. Rocksteady really needs to make a Spiderman game!!

Re: What are you playing?
I'm playing Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney. I want to pick up the bulk of the series before Dual Destines comes out.
Too bad that there isn't going to a be physical release here in the West

Re: What are you playing?
I played Midway Arcade Treasures 2 yesterday on the Gamecube and PC.
High points --
Cyberball! Seriously, if you want a break from real football, this is the one to play.
Timber - what a great game that was.
Hard Drivin - much easier to beat the qualifying time in the arcade. Maybe I need to dial down the difficulty some.
Low points --
Mortal Kombat 1 & 2 (MK 1 is available on PC port of MAT 2) -- I suck so bad at them I don't know where to begin.
Wizard of Wor (on GC) - plays too damn fast to be any good. I understand the PS2 port also has speed issues. Fortunately the PC port runs at the right speed.

Re: What are you playing?
A buddy and I finished the mulitplayer/co op trophies for Far Cry 3 this weekend. I'm going to get started on the single player after I plat The Last of Us (working on those MP trophies).
I hope the single player of Far Cry 3 lives up to the hype. Because honestly the co op wasn't anything that great.
