Finally watched my copy of Millenium Actress. Quite a distinctive film. Nor your typical anime. Also re-watched the first couple Bubblegum Crisis eps on my new DVD set. Hella better than 2040, the original is. Sure, it drips 80s aesthetic, but it's just a damn high quality series with solid storytelling.

Millennium Actress is my favorite from Satoshi Kon. Who is one of my favorite directors. One of my all time favorite films. I've watched it a good 15+ times by now. :)

Monogatari Second Season, Episode 3:

Great insights into Hanekawa's character tonight. I had never been able to invest in her before, but now I'm really rooting for her. If she grows some guts, she could end up being pretty cool.

So...I guess the tiger is responsible for the fires?

Pigtails look weird on Kanbaru, but it was good to see her again. Senjougahara has a surprising amount of patience with Araragi. I feel kind of bad that most of their interactions have been offscreen, but there's only so much money in the world.

Finished up RIN this week. Overall, I was very pleased with it, though it did have that one plot point at the end that took a giant leap of faith...
How the in the hell, considering the vastness that is the ocean, did Rin end up finding Koki's time fruit when she had absolutely no memory of who she was or what she'd found?
I'm plugging away at Slayers Next now. After RIN I decided I needed something a little more lighthearted.

Monogatari Second Season - 04

Half of this episode came from absolutely nowhere, but I really enjoyed it. Great artwork this time around! The end was very sweet. I hope we can find out what that letter says.

I've been catching up on Detective Conan - I stopped a little before DCTP got shut down. Looks like various other fansub groups have been picking up the slack. Should've known!

I do wish you got enough information to solve the mysteries before the end. Usually there's a surprise twist, but I always prefer beating the detective to the punch. Such a fun show.
