Same sort of glass you get on a high end smart phone. Very scratch resistant unless you're dropping it everywhere or poking at it with sharp/metal objects.

On the other hand, you could scratch the 3DS screen just by using the wrong kind of cloth to clean it.

I may have scratched my brand new 3DS screen by cleaning it with the cloth I use to clean my glasses. Sensitive much!

Really? I wipe smudges off of my screen every now and then. No scratches yet. Maybe I should be careful though.

Anybody else pick up Shantae today on the eshop? I have never had a chance to play it before (the cost of that cart is enough to turn most people off) and was not expecting the difficulty to be as high as it is. Its not really like the game is hard, your attack is the problem, its like the whip in castlevania, it has a slow start up that you have to time right and is slow to recover. It still is a fun game for sure, and it is pretty impressive graphically for a GBC game.

I was also kind of interested in that friday monster game, anyone pick that one up?

I finished Shantae on iPhone when the game was released.
And the controls on iPhone are horrible... Still, i've found the game pretty accessible.
The game has its charm, it is still a good platformer today.
Shantae is so lovely with her belly dance :D One of the most lovable characters ever.

Senren Kagura Burst coming to US eShop. Awesome! No idea if this game is good for much besides anime girl fan service, but I'll soon find out.

Was hoping for the Vita game, but this will have to do.

I'm glad it's being localized but goddamn I wish we were getting a physical release even in limited quantities. :(

A bit disappointing, but not surprising.

The real surprise is it will be rated Teen, while Ace Attorney: Dual Destinies is rated Mature. @_@

so I had no interest in Donkey Kong Country Returns 3DS initially, but a Destructoid review says it fixed everything flawed in the Wii game, and that has piqued my interest. (The Wii game was able to trigger a string of expletives from me faster than any game I can think of in recent history). Anyone play it on 3DS yet?

Phoenix Wright VS Layton is getting a western release in early 2014. Hopefully the fact that Layton is a major hit in the west will mean that we'll get a physical release and not an e-shop only, like with Phoenix Wright 5
