True...but $180 is still less than the price of a WiiU...It will be interesting to see what - if any - effect the release has on the value of the carts.

I think it will still hold most of it's value actually.

Earthbound's value already dipped back down when the VC version was announced. It was over $200 at one point.

I can see it settling around the $160-180 range, but I doubt it'd go much below $150.

Interesting...it appears that Wild Guns has topped it...

I remeber when Ogre Battle: March of the Black Queen was the most valuable SNES game, but today, loose copies hover around $60. I guess that all of the re-releases and remakes really took a toll on its value (but were great for us who want to play that excellent game). If Nintendo pushes Earthboud to the 3DS eShop, then I could see prices falling substantially.

All right. I knew it wasn't $10 but I thought I remember the games were above $5. I wonder if this title will carry a premium price on the eshop- kind of like how nearly all the PS1 FF's are $10 on PSN.

I really disliked Earthbound when I played it. I don't care for the aesthetic or the story. My tastes may have changed since it came out, but there's plenty more to play instead.

Still, I agree, it doesn't make any sense that this is not coming out for 3DS as well. Lame.
