Lufia II actually comes first, story-wise.

Yeah, I recommend playing it before Lufia I actually. The emotional toll of Lufia I's intro isn't as powerful if you haven't played through Lufia II.

Yeah, but then the combat system of Lufia I will drive you crazy.

I agree portable RPGs are great. Playing from any room, on the go, & the sleep ability is great.

With the upcoming 3DS RPGs, I look to get even more into handheld RPGs.

I'm about to kick off the 3DS port of Tales of the Abyss (fresh start as I didn't play the PS2 port). Looking forward to playing it on my portable.

Yep, I have played and beaten Lufia I. I had the actual cart back when I was in 4th grade. So quite some years ago. I still remember it very well. I am loving Lufia II.

About 4 hours into Tales of the Abyss (3DS port) & enjoying it.

I dabbled into Beyond Oasis, got the Ultimate Genesis Collection on the PS3. It seems pretty cool and worth playing through, feels like Sega's answer to Secret of Mana, heh.

About 4 hours into Tales of the Abyss (3DS port) & enjoying it.

10.5 hours into Tales of the Abyss now. I have Luke & my party @ level 20.

Really enjoying the story, cut scenes, voice acting, graphical style, item/equipment management, & battle system. A well rounded RPG IMO.

Looks like this one takes about 45 hours. No rush from me. Enjoying it.

I've been playing Ys: The Oath in Felghana as I wait for SMTIV.

Love all the music, the gameplay is fast and challenging and the story doesn't seem to waste your time. I love Ys and can't wait to play the other games!

Seriously want a Vita now as well because of Memories of Celceta.
