That was not, by any stretch, one of the strongest points. That was playing to the cameras, not to the jury.Retrodude wrote:I thought the prosecutor's final point was the strongest one: if they would convict Martin of killing Zimmerman under the same circumstances (and we all know they would), they must convict Zimmerman of killing Martin. Well played, good sir, well played.

Completeley agree. It does nothing to help prove guilt. Just some social commentary he is putting to try to look good to some voters.dsheinem wrote:That was not, by any stretch, one of the strongest points. He's still better than the former prosecutors...Let me correct myself. He's more convincing than the former prosecutors.
I wouldn't push the "Hate in his heart" angle as much as he did, but he kind of had to as to establish that Zimmerman had a motive.
And on both sides I really dislike the "It is NOT possible" statements. That's when I question both sides and need evidence that something "isn't possible".
Funny how "race" isn't an issue, but "age" sure as s#it is.

My car has had the smell of burning oil in the interior for years now. I don't mind it, but friends and family do. I tried a few things, to no avail.
Click and Clack at Car Talk suggested two things:
1) Lots of coffee beans in a cup, and to even leave a fresh pot in the car overnight.
2) Go to a local college campus and let some hippies smoke in our car. You can smell that stuff miles away these days.
Of course the second suggestion was a joke, but I don't want to waste my wife's coffee to make my car smell like a Starbuck's. Did get luck though. I mistakenly left an open pack of "Outta Here Original" Big League Chew in my passenger side drink holder and the interior now smells like one of those rare good smelling, non-glitter wearing strippers. It's not overpowering a bit (hate cars that stink of a fake fragrance), just a hint of bubble gum.

You're trying to set me up for an awful joke, and that isn't going to work. Those women work their asses off for a living and deserve respect.Forlorn Drifter wrote:Non-glitter wearing stripper? What kind of high glass joints do you go to?
