Right, but those customers have had the opportunity to experience Jinx's abilities and for those abilities to overshine his initial appearance. That's not going to happen in traffic court.

In my experience, if you show up to district court wearing something that doesn't imply that you are actively engaged in the drug trade, you will be one the best dressed people there!

Judges like a guy who knows how to dress well. Basically be an individual and express your self when it comes to your stlye I perfer semi baggy jeans and cargo shorts, Nike athletic shorts, t shirts I really like a lot of the graphic tees at anchor blue, polo shirts, and sneaker usually something like nikes or pumas. A few don'ts 1. Never wear slacks with a tee shirt 2. never wear all black unless its like a suit you'll just look insecure and pathetic 3. don't wear skinny jeans or tight ass shirts thouse are for the hoes 4. Don't waer nothing but band tees 5. wear more colors that just black 6 don't wear super baggy clothes. Another inportant thing is hair don't have long hair or a emo hair stlye. Faux Hawks , buzzed head and similar styles are baller. As far as facial hair goes side burns, goaties and soul patches are dope.

I'm going to assume this is sarcasm. If not, I can disagree with several points. Not that it really holds a candle to most of the people on this board, but I had (and still have, I was being considered for management after working just 6 months at my last job) a pretty impressive resume at age 18, which included several management positions with different companies, and well as several leadership roles in high school.

Even though Jinx refuses to see himself in a good light, he has a damn good record too. Multiple certifications, leadership roles, outstanding customer service, etc. His customers would ask for the kid with the black nails and green in his hair. I'll step off the soap box now.
I've met jinx, albeit briefly, and want to preface by saying I have nothing personally against his style. I myself almost always go for comfort over style. Unfortunately, in the professional world, jinx style will hurt him more often than not. Some people will not or can not get over a first impression, especially older folk who also happen to be in management positions and more close minded to such.

Unless "exponential" no longer means, "...to increase or grow" (and I missed the memo), then yr right, I don't know what it means.

Yes, should have read "decreases ability to react" not increases. Would've thought the implication was there, but good catch.

I just got my ticket thrown out, and I showed up with un-natural red hair and a pretty obvious nose piercing, while wearing all black. The judge, police officers, court attendants, court goers never looked twice at me or implied I was up to no good.

As for dressing like this all the time, we do more often than not but there is a place and time for certain clothes. Both Jinx and I have dress clothes (which are also black) but they are tailored and look quite nice. They get worn maybe once every two years, or when someone dies. It's not like we go into interviews wearing chains and platform boots, we wear those things for a family outing to the mall or meeting people. Yes, it does put some people off, but when we act kindly towards those people it erases that initial fear that people get when meeting us. We get more compliments than we do hecklers. We can accept that though, if someone were to dress the way we do and not expect some backlash, that would just be foolish. Saying that it will not get us anywhere however, is not the case.
I'm here for your body.

Sarcasm with a sprinkle of honesty.

And Mr.Popo echoes that honesty. No kidding, you can be held in contempt of court for what you wear.

"I will only say this once, and in the case you are late to court, that is your fault and my rules will still apply on the account of common sense and decency.

All mobile phones off. Not vibrate, off. If I hear as much as a mobile phone vibration you will be fined and be held in contempt.

No laughing, giggling, or speaking out of order. If you do, you will be fined and be held in contempt.

If your clothing shows lack of respect for the court, you will be fined and be held in contempt. This includes baggy pants, not wearing a belt, untied shoe laces, hats, do-rags, offensive logos, visible underwear, and I suggest you take out any and all visible piercings.

If you show any signs of defiance or so much as shrug your shoulders you will be fined and held in contempt.

Any outbursts or interruptions by family members or anyone in the courtroom will be fined and held in contempt."

...and that is only traffic court. That said it ALWAYS depends on the judge and DA's.

This is true. I once saw a guy get thrown in jail for contempt when he wandered into the wrong judge's courtroom wearing a baseball cap. That guy had no idea what hit him. He said, "Wait? What?" and was looking around as the bailiffs carried him off to jail for 24 hours. I would laugh; but honestly, I was in court that day, and it was terrifying.
