Your unpopular opinion, at that.

So I was mainly right on the money, aside from the fact you didn't like the original Ultima games (which I can understand, they are pretty archaic even for diehards). Honestly those games (Elder Scrolls, ME, Fallout 3) are not good examples of what the genre has to offer. Really shallow and not a fair representation. It's like saying "well, I tried Final Fantasy X-XIII, JRPGs just aren't for me."lisalover1 wrote:So far, I have tried the first 3 Ultimas, TES 3-5, Mass Effect, Fallout 3, and a couple others.
Hmm, care to explain why? I'm not a diehard Halo fan by any means, as I've never been sucked in by the story much. Just play it for Master Chief's cool action hero-esque one liners and the very fun gameplay. But Halo 4 seemed like a logical and respectful continuation of the series, and I honestly was impressed with the conclusion of it's story.Aton7 wrote:And on the topic of Halo, I think Halo 4 is a terrible Halo game and ruined all of the things that made the series good.

Pretty much how I feel about it. And the time travelling just seemed like they were trying to add layers, but instead just made the game more complicated when it wasn't necessary.MulishaSoldier929 wrote:ZeoDefender wrote:The Genesis Sonic platformers are some of the greatest games of all time, but Sonic CD is a horrible, unplayable mess.
I wouldn't go as far to say its horrible but I never could see why people put it on such a high pedistal when compared to the other Sonic titles. Its a decent game but Sonic 2 and Sonic 3&knuckles blow it out of the water IMO.
Haha those are long before my time. I dont think its like unusable it just always makes me go what on earth were they thinking when I play N64 and reach 5 feet to the dpad.BoneSnapDeez wrote:The Intellivision and Atari 5200 would like a word with you.MagOps wrote: N64 Controller is worst controller ever. I probably should have been more specific. I actually enjoyed the story a lot and thought it was pretty good. (Except for that devil woman named Sarah Palmer) I feel like the multiplayer really strayed from what made the previous titles successful. To me, it didn't feel like a Halo game, and I know this comparison has been made a million times, but it felt like a Call of Duty. One thing that made Halo different was the power weapons throughout the map and everyone starting with the same weapon. Before, part of the game was controlling those parts of map and fighting for those weapons. Ordnance drops ruin Halo as an arena shooter. As far as the classes, I don't really mind it to a point. Giving people the option of DMR, BR, AR is fine with me, because they all pretty much balance out, but I don't like the idea of different grenades, perks, and abilities. Maybe it's just because I'm a Bungie/Halo fanboy, but I haven't liked what 343 has done with the series so far.MrEco wrote:Hmm, care to explain why? so true, i dont know why more people don't say thisLuke wrote:Sonic CD is the best Sonic game made on the Sega CD.
I see your point, and even agree with you a bit. My biggest annoyance though is actually that many of the perks in Halo 4 feel useless. And all of the armor abilities are very situational, where in Reach they more defined your playstyle.Aton7 wrote:I probably should have been more specific.
