Depends on what it is. If I played it growing up and loved it the sky is the limit. Some of the crazy priced carts I am not so quick to jump at without knowing they are worth the extra coin.
Some of the nicest parts of my collection were big ticket items and I love having them more than 30 5$ loose carts.
I don't think I would pay over $500 for anything complete, or $200 for a loose. Just for general games that I am not crazy about top is 75-100$.
