I picked this up on sale on Amazon the other day (along with the Brooks Blu Ray set) and started going through it this evening with my wife. I quite like Brooks...but she ADORES him and was really, really stoked to get this as an early anniversary present today. I've seen maybe 10% of the stuff in here (it's about 10 hours long), and am much looking forward to spending some quality time with it this weekend.

Tron Uprising...worth investing time into? I am a huge fan of the Tron universe and wanted to know if the series is worth it. I am bothered by a lot of cartoon series that constantly put all the character as teens to be more relateable.

If you're a fan of the franchise, it's definitely worth seeing as it explains what happened on The Grid between the two films. I need to see the rest of it myself as I only caught the first few episodes, which were pretty good.
I'm not a glitch, I just have pixlexia.

Did it end, or was it canceled? I think I saw the first two episodes but never kept up with it. I heard it was scrapped.

That had to be one of the biggest holy shit moments in the history of television. Game of Thrones is the only show I know of where people put youtube videos showing people's reactions to certain episodes

I am bothered by the same thing, and sadly it has that issue sometimes. They also throw out the phrase "Im not programmed for x" alot. Overall it is still a fun show but slow moving. If they had continued the style of the first episode it would be amazing. I am a huge fan of the first Tron and this has more elements of it than the new movie, but it is still the style of the new film (there was a joke about one of the characters being an accounting program). BUT it is saved by an excellent voice cast. The voice cast from the new film is back (when they are in the show), the main character is Elijah Wood, one of the main villains is Paul Reubens and another is Lance Henriksen, and the foreman of the shop that Elijah Woods character works at is Carl Winslow himself, Reginald VelJohnson.

Its in Disney Hell. It did not do well on broadcast, but has gained a following through Netflix. It has not been officially canceled.
People that aren't watching Definance, are missing a helluva sci-fi show. And despite people wanting to compare it to Firefly, it's really NOTHING alike other than it taking place in the future. And Brent Spiner (Data from Star Trek TNG) does a helluva job as his character Day-Tak (not sure if that's how it's spelled, just trying to get the pronunciation right).
The characters, the tension between the alien races, the layers of subterfuge happening, and the city itself are becoming more fleshed out and building towards something big.
The end of every episode keeps me wanting more.
