I tend to pick up the higher quality Plug N' Plays (Namco, C64, etc.) if they're $3-4. I don't necessarily care to play them but I think the nicer ones make good decorative peices for the game room. The Space invaders PNP is one of my favorites (though the one in your photo is different than mine). I just looks cool as hell and it's built solid. Even if I have the higher quality PNPs already I still pick them up when I find them cheap because I can generally make a few bucks off 'em on eBay or give them away as cheap gifts.Fragems wrote:
Jakks Namco Plug N Play(Yes another one actually could have and should have picked up 2 today. Both were insanely well priced, but I was a little hesitant since I just picked one up yesterday

Jakks Space Invaders Plug N Play
TV Play Power(Not to impressed with it after trying it out at least it was cheap)

I would of bought them, my 2 favorite SNES games and ebay would be more expensive than that, damn scalpers.J_Wil wrote: ...at this point I feel a turtle head poking! Holy shit! I asked the lady at the counter if I could take a look at the games. She hands them to me and I see the sticker on the front of the boxes. $80 for Final Fantasy III and $60 for Secret of Mana. The turtle head scurried it's way back in. Fuck! Both games had manuals, FF III was in amazing condition and seemed to have all the inserts too (Secret of Mana box was a little beat up and had a tear on the front) but those are eBay prices. I was really tempted but there's just no way I'm paying that at a thrift store.

THIS is the reason why I've been slowly getting out of the game. I'm not to the point where I'm going to sell off anything, and maybe I'll come back in a year or two, if and when the bubble bursts. For now I'll concentrate on current and next gen catalogs.
Damn re-sellers ruining classic gaming for me.
