got this turbo controller for the NES still in the box a little while back. Busted that baby out and it works great! I don't use turbo controllers often but it's fun to mess around with

I tend to pick up the higher quality Plug N' Plays (Namco, C64, etc.) if they're $3-4. I don't necessarily care to play them but I think the nicer ones make good decorative peices for the game room. The Space invaders PNP is one of my favorites (though the one in your photo is different than mine). I just looks cool as hell and it's built solid. Even if I have the higher quality PNPs already I still pick them up when I find them cheap because I can generally make a few bucks off 'em on eBay or give them away as cheap gifts.
"Oh great, another box of useless sh*t."

Main Collection: http://connect.collectorz.com/users/ynj ... collection - Not looking to move anything on this list but would entertain offers.

Yeah I am probably just going to pop the pacman pnps on Amazon they are going for around $20-24 on there. I picked up the one Namco yesterday for $1 and this one was $3. Was offered another one as well at $5 and then $3 but passed it up :P. Will see how fast these two sell before I consider picking up any more.

The space invaders pnp is staying with me though :). It has some pretty good games on it Space Invaders, Bubble Bobble, Tube It, Qix, Birdie King, Legend of Kage, Alpine Ski, Fairyland Story, Chack n’ Pop and Puzznic. Plus the joystick is a pretty good quality and feels great. Sadly the buttons are a different story they feel kind of cheap and make a loud clicking noise when pressed. Still happy at the $3 price point though.

She hands them to me and I see the sticker on the front of the boxes. $80 for Final Fantasy III and $60 for Secret of Mana. The turtle head scurried it's way back in. Fuck! Both games had manuals, FF III was in amazing condition and seemed to have all the inserts too (Secret of Mana box was a little beat up and had a tear on the front) but those are eBay prices. I was really tempted but there's just no way I'm paying that at a thrift store.
I would of bought them, my 2 favorite SNES games and ebay would be more expensive than that, damn scalpers.

THIS is the reason why I've been slowly getting out of the game. I'm not to the point where I'm going to sell off anything, and maybe I'll come back in a year or two, if and when the bubble bursts. For now I'll concentrate on current and next gen catalogs.

Damn re-sellers ruining classic gaming for me.

Great Finds at the Goodwill

Post by Sasha_Blue »

I went to my local Goodwill today and found a complete copy of The Sims for the Gamecube for $2. When I was ruminating through the shelves I found a numbered Collector's Edition copy of Myst 3: Exile for PC for $4! The box is HUGE! It is near complete, the only thing that is is missing is Disc 1 of the game and the pewter figure that came with it. It bummed me out a little but not really. It's not everyday you run into this kind of game in the wild. Reminds me of the time I ran into a complete PC big box copy of Return to Zork for dirt cheap. It came with the game itself in a double jewel case, manual, Prima guide, making of the game and soundtrack.

Have you found anything cool at the Goodwill?
