Why don't you invest in a USB SNES controller and play it on PC?
My WTB thread (Sega CD/Saturn games)
Also looking to buy: Ys III (TG-16 CD), Shadowrun (Genesis) Hori N64 mini pad and Slayer (3DO) in long box/just the long box

^ That's what I was thinking. I see no reason to play this on a PSP.

That's probably it. I still love my PSP simply for the fact it's a handheld that can play SNES games with a perfect button layout. I have a lot of downtime for gaming in between jobs, just not in front of a PC.

The Snes9x port is pretty great and you'll have no problem playing well-known games like Earthbound for the most part. It implements speed hacks for certain games automatically, plus gives you nice graphic options and such as well.

I was wanting to play it on the go, a psp is easier to carry a psp than a pc.

I went on wololo.net and at first the emulator didn't work, so I redownloaded one of the emulators. It turns out the emulators controls are like that of the SNES, so I kept on pressing X (in the emulator X is B) which would cancel selecting Earthbound

The emulator runs perfectly. The sound had no problems, there wasn't that much lag (in my opinion) and it works! Thanks for everyones help.
