Good news, but it's still less powerful, more expensive, and a much less compelling launch library.
I know my preference, but I wonder what will happen now? Maybe the PS4 will still sell overwhelmingly better? Maybe someone will actually make a good Kinect game? I sort of wanted to see one console dominate, but it's more exciting to have a relatively even playing field. I guess it's all up to the developers.
The game footage looks super impressive this year - who remembers being super impressed by a new generation of consoles in the past? I remember seeing the first Xbox 360 footage and thinking "it looks just like Xbox."

I am probably going to get a PS4 instead, even hearing after Xbox One reverses their DRM policy. For the meantime, I'm sticking with my PC. I'll wait until PS4 has a price drop.

I nearly shat myself when I first saw PlayStation in action.
Also I would say sixth gen to seventh gen was a way bigger "feeling" step than this current transition. It basically feels like seventh gen part 2 to me more than a true new generation of gaming.
