Would these tabbed batteries work for GB/GBC games? I don't like the idea of having electrical tape in my games, but i have no soldering experience. Is it easy to learn and do?

Soldering is quite easy to learn just watch some how two videos on youtube. Perhaps practice soldering a new battery in an old sports game no one will miss. Gameboys use a different battery than the snes, here is what you need http://www.ebay.com/itm/20x-Lot-of-CR20 ... 20d1e4e796

What type of soldering iron and wire did you use? Can you either send me a link or give me the info about them?
Thanks.

Go to radio shack, get rosin core solder, and any old soldering iron will work for what your doing. I got mine for $10.

Here this has what you need and the batteries you need, check the battery type when you open the game to see which one you need. http://www.ebay.com/itm/5-cr1616-5-cr20 ... 232c409f9b

I guess not, maybe google search the game you looking for and what battery you need.

After a bit of research i think cr2025 have the same voltage 3v but are thinner than a cr2032 and hold less of a charge. Your best bet is to open it up and see what battery is in there, it should say right on it.
