NEED HELP with starting a GB/GBC collection!

I actually replaced every single save battery in my collection this weekend. Ebay has tabbed snes cr2032 25 for $19 shipped. It was actually quite fun and easy soldering in new batteries and its comforting to know my games will save for at least another 15 years

Would these tabbed batteries work for GB/GBC games? I don't like the idea of having electrical tape in my games, but i have no soldering experience. Is it easy to learn and do?

What type of soldering iron and wire did you use? Can you either send me a link or give me the info about them?

Go to radio shack, get rosin core solder, and any old soldering iron will work for what your doing. I got mine for $10.

One more question. Where do you get the special screwdriver for the GB/GBC cartridges (i think its the same for all nintendo carts)?

I guess not, maybe google search the game you looking for and what battery you need.

After a bit of research i think cr2025 have the same voltage 3v but are thinner than a cr2032 and hold less of a charge. Your best bet is to open it up and see what battery is in there, it should say right on it.
