Sega Game Gear exclusives?

Post by lunar »

I'm looking for a list of games which were exclusive to the Game Gear (i.e not ports).

Does anyone know of any, or maybe a list that someone has already compiled.

Thanks.

Maybe I'm missing something, but where does it say which games were exclusives?

I've never seen a list pulling out only Game Gear exclusives.

Also, you won't find two agreeing lists of all Game Gear releases, because there are games that people believe to exist that have only been rumored, and titles that people have no idea what regions they were released in.

Not entirely on topic, but did anyone see that limited edition white Game Gear that went for a fair amount of money on eBay a while back? It came with its own special presentation case and a white tv tuner, which was obviously useless outside Japan.

Ronald in the Magical World

Strangely a Japan only game, who includes an English translation requiring non-Japanese hardware to access.

Puyo Puyo did the same thing to become "Puzlow Kids".
Lum fan.

The Game Gear Fantasy Zone and Shinobi games are unique, and different to other versions on the Master System and suchlike.

What about the Game Gear version of Ninja Gaiden? Is that a port or a completely new game?

Also, we can add Phantasy Star Adventure, Phantasy Star Gaiden, Lunar: Samposuru Gakuen, Mahou Kishi Rayearth, and Mahou Kishi Rayearth 2: Making of Magic Knight to the list.

I'm sure there's tons of Japanese exclusives we don't know about.
