What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?

Here's the thing. You aren't a medical professional who specializes in treatment of mental disorders. And even if you were, it's well known that self diagnosis is risky at best. There are a large number of people who are concerned that you suffer from depression. Go see a professional, and if you're not depressed you'll be in and out in a visit or two and can move on with your life.

Yeah, but the only people worried are people online. My family isn't, my friends, besides one, aren't. If I was, I'm pretty sure they would bring it up.

I'm watching this at a movie eatery called The Moviehouse. They are kind of like the Alamo Drafthouse theaters, but you can reserve any seat in the house instead of a select few, each seat is a barcalounger, (leather.. it gets hot, but still nice) and they serve actual food and beer.Luke wrote:
Head's up, you'll be spending a little bit more than three hours in the theater if you get to the movie on time. Thirty minutes of trailers/commercials/theater hype, and a movie that is a bit over two and a half hours (including credits). Bring a "burger purse" or buy a large popcorn.
.
There *could* be kids, but they arent allowed in without a parent/guardian, and each seat is a minimum $12 so I'm not sure if parents of a 5 year old superman fan would be cool with spending that much green on the movie for them. At least I'm hoping.

It's pretty difficult, especially having a newborn. My wife was a stay-at-home mom until we absolutely could not afford for her not to work anymore. She has a stable job and income now, thank god. I think I grew a patch of white hair at the ripe old age of 26 during that time.BoneSnapDeez wrote:Job ended today. I'm a stay-at-home dad now.
Dropping down to one income.

Without getting into too much detail I will say this - my wife makes about 10 times as much as I do (guess I should say "did").
My lack of my paycheck won't hit us too hard, thankfully - but I'm sure we'll feel it nonetheless...
I plan to stay at home until my daughter goes to pre-K, so about four years.

*seconds before fainting* "Imma gunna havta pay how much to send junior to college?"
Another one is *seconds before thinking about moving to a third world country* "Imma gunna need how much to retire?"
Raise your kid right, which I know you will, and you will be astonished how scholarships can pay off, and that student debt can be a great thing*. Two sides of the same coin in a way.
*Paying it off is a different story, but establishing a credit line when you're a young adult opens a lot of doors for you when you graduate. As long as you don't screw up of course.
