Will the SLG-3000 accept NES video from RGB Tri-Star 64?

Post by BitFaced »

While I'm still not perfectly set on what I'm going to do for a proper "multi-system" (of NES, SNES, N64, Mega Drive, etc.) there's a question I'm pondering if I decide to get a N64/Tri-Star 64.

I've heard the SNES & N64 portion of the Tri-Star 64 do RGB when the TS64 & N64 are RGB modded, but the NES portion only "Video".

I'm idealizing that I use a SNES RGB cable to a GBS-8200 to VGA, which may also include a Sync Strike and/or SLG 3000.

It sounds like Video means Composite and this usually wouldn't go to a GBS-8200 and/or SLG 3000, but since it is a RGB cable and is using RGB otherwise, would I be able to get this video through the GBS-8200 and SLG-3000 to the HD TV? Because the SLG-3000 would probably make it look better...
N64/NES/FC/SNES/SFC/GB (SGB)/GBC (Black)(SGB)/FDS/Satellaview/Genesis/Mega Drive/Master System & maybe N64DD/GBC/GBA.
