No bayonetta? It really stands out from the other games that were show. Also new DKC game, didn't see that one coming.
Still haven't played the original. I'm not a big fan of DMC so I didn't try its spiritual successor.
Neiter do i, but after that gameplay i wanna run and buy the first game now.

That "new" mario game... for a minute i though i new mario for the 3DS then i saw the WiiU logo aaaand... nintendo you can do it better.
AppleQueso wrote:Mario 3D World looks fun and all, but it's probably the least interesting way I could imagine to follow up Mario Galaxy with.
Besides that, why "3D" in the title? Of course it's 3D, Mario Games have been 3D for the past 17 years.

Well played, Sony.

And Nintendo, you announced the one thing that would make me want to go play a Smash Bros. game again. Good job.

Judging by your nickname and avatar, you should be excited about Sonic Lost Worlds at least. That game looks amazing.
Very excited about Lost Worlds, saw that last week......

For a console that has been out for over 6 months and by the time the games come out that were shown, almost a year or more, this was not good enough period.

Are Retro and Nintendo trying to pretend that they have been working for over 2 years on a sequel to Donkey Kong Country Returns! Seriously......Nintendo has to speed up development or get more 3rd party support plain and simple. This drip feeding of software is not good enough.

Any body know whats going on with Square Enix and Nintendo? Seems like Kingdom Hearts 3 would do great on Wii U considering Squares support for Nintendo's hand held devices and the KH franchise, plus Disney's game have done well on Nintendo platforms?

I didn't want to mention Final Fantasy, but is it too much to ask for Nintendo to get Square on board?

Now i'm clutching at straws....
Need Hexyz Force and Class of Heroes 2 for a complete PSP RPG Set.....let me know your price!!!!

Windwaker HD looks a lot better in motion than the first screenshots we were given a few months back.

edit: Other than that, this Nintendo E3/Direct kind of sucked.

They provided zero surprises. I'm sure these will be great games, but it was very uneventful. Wind Waker HD and The Wonderful 101 I already have pre-ordered. May get smash for 3DS. And maybe Donkey Kong.

I'm not sure what "it looked like Smash Bros" means, as opposed to..?

The console version looked very similar to Brawl, which is really strange considering how old Brawl is. The 3DS version was just ugly.
Not sure what you were expecting.
I'd expect them to talk about the game. They had no problems talking about the other games.

E3 2013 Bayonetta 2 Trailer

It absolutely delivers.

A few things:
  • -Somehow it looks even more visually orgasmic than OG Bayonetta
    -Same godlike art style
-Bayonetta summons infernal demons during actual gameplay outside of cutscenes (!!!!)
-You get to see full-body Gomorrah
    -Jeanne has Bayonetta's climax hair
    -Bayonetta has a short haircut
-There seem to be no negatives.

I am overall very happy with Nintendo's Show. I am excited for some of the third party games like watch dogs. I know I could get it on another system, but I want to cast my vote to say that I want more games like this on this system.

Wonderful 101 has and still does look great and I can't wait. The mysterious "X" game looks really really amazing, a nice mesh of monster hunter and mechs...can't complain there. Bayonetta 2, although not my cup of tea looks amazing. Smash Bros looks great on the WiiU and I am happy to see it keeping to its roots. Megaman was a brilliant choice. A real no-brainer.

I don't know about you guys, but I like the look of the new Mario Bros. game. Yes it doesn't have the pinache of Mario galaxy, but I think it will be a really fun game to play with other people and I am sure Nintendo has more up their sleeve for the title than what we saw. I see this more akin to an HD multi-player improvement over the 3DS title than a followup to Galaxy.

All I can really say about the WiiU is, I am glad I do not have motion sickness. With Bayonetta, Sonic and the new Mario Kart...man...that would suck!

I wish this wasn't a Wii-U exclusive. But, alas...it is. Good for Nintendo. I enjoyed the first Bayonetta mainly for the gameplay. The story, more specifically the bosses were kinda....out there. But overall I enjoyed it.

Platinum Games makes a great game.
