I really don't care for the Xbox One or Windows 8, but I can't entirely wish ill will of Microsoft altogether because 1.) they're local and I know people who work there, and 2.) the PC world would never have been what it has been without Microsoft.

That said, wow, they've taken a lot of turns in recent years that I really don't like.

It'll be overhyped as usual. I plan on watching all the press conferences, but I'm not expecting much form anyone. Hopefully Capcom will revive Legends 3 (HA!!) and maybe Sony will reveal a butt load of Vita games... But that's a big maybe.

Who knows. Sega might jump out of nowhere and announce the new Jupitercast 2! Complete with a built in modem, some rams, blue rays, and backwards compatibility. We're talking five different cartridge slots.

I'm excited for sure, I get excited for E3 every year. I tend not to be a negative douchebag about news coming out before I've even heard it.

One thing that has caught my interest this year is there's a very odd lack of news rolling up to E3. It's my hope that publishers have finally learned how to keep their goddamn mouths shut.

The last couple years have been ridiculous with the pre-e3 leaks, as a result, the shows have seemed mundane ... but it's really just because the news got leaked early for many announcements.

I would've loved to get a first look at some of the past E3's. Just imagine being there for the infamous early Saturn launch, or the announcement of the Dreamcast!

I think this year we are going to see...almost nothing.

Seriously, a lot of companies have already had press conferences these past few months talking about their upcoming games. Konami just had theirs and showed....absolutely nothing. Cool, Metal Gear Solid...got it...we knew all about it beforehand...

Sega already announced what they will be showing and, aside from the new WiiU Sonic Game, they are showing nothing! The mobile version of, The Cave? Totally warrants excitement

New Battlefield? New Call of Duty? expected. Exciting? no. It is expected. What makes reveals exciting is when you get what you least expect. The only place that I see the potential of that coming is from Nintendo.

They announced pikmin already, Wind Waker HD, Smash Bros. etc.

If we see more of those games it is expected. If they show something new, which I feel they will in an attempt to fill up their WiiU library, I will be excited.

I just don't see anything that hasn't already been talked about making an appearance. If so, color me happy and excited for the next generation of games. Show me the same old stuff and color me bored.

Smash was announced (kinda), but we've seen nothing from it. We don't even know the title yet.

I miss when companies used E3 to reveal things. Remember that? That was a nice sentiment.

Honestly, the most exciting news that I could hope for to come from Nintendo Direct is that they are starting up Smash Dojo with daily content reveals again. I used to check that first thing every morning

I'm always a bit excited for this stuff.

But, sadly, since G4 isn't around anymore, I'm not sure where I'm going to watch anything. Is Spike or anybody like that doing coverage? Or whatever G4 got replaced with? (Esquire TV, I believe...)
