It's ugly but, it runs at a full 60fps. As far as I can tell it has exactly the same content as the PS3 version and it plays absolutely great.
The story mode is the best too. I really enjoyed what I played, I need to pick it up again.
Me too, my brother changed MK for UFC 3... don't ask why i still don't know...

When I moved I went from a GS that still had PS2 and GCN games to one that doesn't even carry more than a small handful of new Wii games anymore. I've stopped shopping at GS for now because of that.

Bloodsport and Shenmue 2 both take place in Kowloon City, Hong Kong. In some crazy alternate universe, did Frank Dux and Ryo Hazuki square off and spar one another?

One of the gamestops still sell GC games, but all the good ones are taken for the most part.

I bet they did.

And you know what? Ryo won.

Nope. They've made more that 2 Bloodsports. Ryo was done after 2.

While my GPU is away I've been doing some gaming with my laptop on the TV...

I don't understand why the 360 pad has become the controller for console/TV based first person shooting. The sticks are too short and too resistant. The analog triggers annoy me for shooting, and I hate the asymmetry. I also am surprised at how playable TF2 is with a controller. It's actually better for Demo-knighting since a bug allows you to turn much much faster using a controller.

I really wish the tech wizards would get the WiiU pro controller working as a 360 pad, cause man have I grown to like that thing. It's no DualShock, but it's close (though the dpad is probably the best of any current console). Also digital triggers > analog triggers. You want to play racing games? There's a right analog stick that has worked better than the triggers since 1997.

I also wonder how this laptop will hold up over the next 4 years. As it stands currently, it chews through everything I throw at it just fine, especially at 720p. For $700, it's pretty impressive actually. I didn't expect to be as satisfied with the performance of this lowly 750m as I am.

Also Animal Crossing is great and good thing I'm on summer break because it's taking far too much of my free time.

The 360 controller is my favorite controller out of the main 3 and I use it for all of my PC gaming these days and I love it. It's relatively easy to get a 360 controller working with a PC and I'm sure the ubiquity of them has helped make them so popular in that arena.

Is it too much to ask to get a car combat game, with a large variety of vehicles, which can be customized and played up for fun? Like Mad Max, but a huge variety of cars. Think the new Death Race style, covering the cars in metal and souping them up for the hell of it. And I don't mean customization like what color, I mean what engine, whether to chop/chanel/otherwise change, ratrodding, gearing, exhaust systems, defensive and offensive mechanisms, setups for electronics heavy cars (new cars), standard versus automatic, what transmission...

Now I'm all worked up.

720p widescreen is pretty low resolution compared to 'normal' PC displays these days, it should hold up for quite some time.
