The Controller Chronicles

Post by Satoshi_Matrix »

For a while now, I've started a few review series on my youtube channel. Among them is a series I call the Controller Chronicles, named of course after the long running public broadcast of yesteryear, The Computer Chronicles.

This series aims to showcase the best gaming controllers on the market with some thoughts on their design, performance and pricing. You can expect more of these such reviews in the future, so stay tuned! If there's anything you'd particularly like me to cover, let me know and I'll try to get around to it. Of course, I can only review controllers I own.

The newest entry in this series is the HoriPad Mini 64.

Hey, Satoshi_Matrix,

First off, great videos. I love controllers and human-interface devices.

What's the story on the stick-on pad that covers your Gamecube d-pad? You mentioned in your annotations that it was made by "madkatz" and it works for GCN and GBA. I can't find this product any darn where. Can you tell me more about it?

I love the Gamecube controller; I just need a slightly bigger d-pad for my big hands.

Peace.

Was seriously about to do this on my own. I've recently picked up a fascination with 3rd party controllers and obscure controller designs. Might hold off now, but I'll definitely check out your videos the next chance I get.
