Bust-a-Move has been my personal favorite.

Does Lemmings count? If so, I definitely nominate it as well.

haha, i'm gonna have to go with not just tetris, but tetris battle gaiden for the snes
that game is AWESOME
so much fun and crazy, especially multiplayer!

The problem with that advice is that the "quit it" portion of the process becomes much more complicated after the "hit it" maneuver has been completed. Much easier to "quit it" before all else.

Puyo Puyo is good, but I wouldn't say I'm a fan.

My missus was addicted to Puzzle Quest for quite some time. I'd have to nominate that on her behalf.

Otherwise the Puyo Puyo series for me have always been my favourite. The "Fever" games later in the series are awesome.
