But all genitalia waggling nonsense aside, sometimes bundles and cheap finds happen and then maybe you decide to keep a variant or a spare in case of disaster.

Just to be clear I'm joking around. Nobody *really* needs tons of duplicates and those with fewer systems generally get more use out of them and have less to move and store. I have bargain hunting and pack rat disease haha.

I barely made it 26+!

But it's not entirely accurate. My MicroVision no longer works. And my C64 does work, however the color chip is going out (as far as I can figure from the research I've done) and makes this shimmering effect on the text and some graphics.

So even thought I own those 2 mentioned consoles, they aren't in quite usable condition.

And the Power Player console, I'm also counting, is actually a Famicom rip-off. But I think it counts because I don't have an original Famicom.

Yeah i figured i would hurry up and blame him but 3\4 of the systems are mine i got alot of them when i cleaned out a game store and through the process of a craigslist ad and hopefully by monday i will have less systems cause i am doing my yard sale this weekend.

Do you folks counting all the dups have cords and cables for each system. If you have 15 N64's but only 2 AC bricks...you only have 2 N64's.

Counting dups i'm in the 80+ range, but they all work and all have their own cables. Counting only region/color variants it's in the 50+ range.
Counting only (1) per console release it's 23. (meaning, dreamcast US, dreamcast JP, dreamcast Sports, dreamcast Hello Kitty = only 1).

But really, if your dad has a problem with how many game systems you own, ask him how many cars he's owned over his life, or how many cell phones, or books, or whatever he's into.

No one has nothing that they experience a wide variety of, and each video game system provides a unique experience.

I did not count duplicates in my list, and if I had, my number would only go up to 28. Its also worth noting that while I have two 360s, one is a launch model and the other is a slim model.

And yes, I do have the all the cables for my two duplicates.

I had one other duplicate, but it was sold in the charity auction.
