Questions about prices of a few systems...
I'm not sure if this goes here or in the bst, but how much should I expect to pay for a working clean dreamcast system (with controllers and cords)? Also how much for a original gameboy and pocket? Thanks.

go look over completed auctions on eBay

This, since this is all we'd be doing anyway. However, Dreamcasts will be a tough sell for more than $20.dsheinem wrote:go look over completed auctions on eBay

Yes! Dreamcasts are nice and cheap. Hell, you can still find a new Dreamcast for $100.

Wow, that's pretty good. I didn't know that, but then I'm not a new-in-box collector. As long as it works and doesn't look like trash, it'll find a home in my game room.BoneSnapDeez wrote:Yes! Dreamcasts are nice and cheap. Hell, you can still find a new Dreamcast for $100.

Re: Questions about prices of a few systems...
I mostly deal in flea market prices, so Im not much of an expert on stores/online/dealers.
Its also a hard sell on a dreamcast when you don't know if it was heavily used with burned games.
$20 bucks for a bare bones Dreamcast with no box, one controler, vmu is okay. The more original parts the better. The same with games.
Make sure that it comes with the good av cables. You don't want RF.
That's why its sometimes good to buy spare dreamcasts. You can find one sometimes for about five or ten bucks. Leave a good one for your original games and a few spares for just burned games.
~~~~~~~~~~~
Gameboy pockets and color should be around $25-30 used. Check to see that the battery covers aren't damaged. See that the scuffs that it has don't affect looks too much. Screens are important too, ask to knock off some bucks if its too messed up. You could find replacement screens online later.
A fair going price for a gameboy is about $20 bucks. Depending on conditions, You can lowball a fatty gameboy by about five or ten. It may be harder to bargain with the play it loud series, aka colorful game boys.
Obviously boxed will get higher prices.
Check to see that it the screen isn't messed up when you put a game in. And check that the battery contacts aren't corroded.
