Re: Random Gaming Thoughts
I just got two games working the way I want them. Instead of using the keyboard or having gimped mouse controls, I managed to finagle the settings of Blake Stone: Aliens of Gold and Alien Trilogy to utilize the common WASD scheme. Alien Trilogy is a little rough when I look up and down, but other than that it's great. I have an idea on how I want to setup the controls for Isle of the Dead, too. I feel like such a smart ass.

How are you going about changing the control scheme for AOG? I've got the full version and it's a great FPS with tons of levels, but the Wolf3D engine they used also came with those primitive Wolf3D controls.GSZX1337 wrote:I just got two games working the way I want them. The oxbox is the best dust collecting console ever. Not because you're not playing it.

I always found the PS2 to be quite the dust magnet, partially because it's a pain to clean out the slits on the front.Luke wrote:The oxbox is the best dust collecting console ever. Not because you're not playing it.
Neither of them have anything on my PC though. It's insane how much dust this thing sucks up.

My Saturn seems to be the worst. That pretty, shiny finish loves the dust.RyaNtheSlayA wrote:I always found the PS2 to be quite the dust magnet, partially because it's a pain to clean out the slits on the front.Luke wrote:The oxbox is the best dust collecting console ever. Saturn isn't even very shiny, but dust is certainly plenty visible on it. I can't keep the dust off of the gloss finish on my Ps3 and black Wii. My guitar is gloss black too and has the same problem.BurningDoom wrote:My Saturn seems to be the worst. I used a combination of the DOSBox keymapper and a .com file I found on Gog. I'm at work right now, but if you'd like I'll make a step by step list of what I did.ExedExes wrote:How are you going about changing the control scheme for AOG? That would be great, I'm using DOSBox right now for it and I'd love to get back to it. I'm somewhere on the 4th or 5th episode now.GSZX1337 wrote:I used a combination of the DOSBox keymapper and a .com file I found on Gog.
