The beginning was a tribute to BATMAN FOREVER*, how much more oomph could you ask for?
*no one here recognized that?

I'm not really sure what I mean, it might just have been my mood at the time. It just didn't seem to have punch. Like watching a movie that's really good, but is about something you don't care about, except that I care about Iron Man.Luke wrote:No Oomph?Forlorn Drifter wrote: Saw Iron Man 3. This is a movie that if you are on the fence about seeing, skip it. There's nothing wrong with a kids movie being just for kids, but every parent's face I saw in my theater's audience looked bored. There's no sprinkling of humor for grown-ups, and the story isn't anything new. For $15.00 a ticket, I expect a bit more especially for a movie whose title suggests it will be remembered forever, and even poems will be written about it.Retrodude wrote:Epic
Your mileage may vary on this one. I'm a huge fan of animated films, so of course I liked it. My mom is only sometimes interested in animation (for example, she had no interest in seeing Wreck It Ralph or ParaNorman but she loved Brave and Despicable Me) and she enjoyed Epic just as much as I did. The plotting and characters (especially the villain) are very much like the kind of thing you might have seen in an animated film from the 90s. That might not be so impressive to some people, but for others, it might be just what they're looking for.Luke wrote:This is a movie that if you are on the fence about seeing, skip it. The 3-D is impressive though and it's fun.
