pc monitor to retro console how to connect?

Anything that is gaming related that doesn't fit well anywhere else

Composite is the cheapest easiest way by far.
Not very pretty but ALL of those consoles allow it.

As for luxury options I've read about if money were no factor... (just hypothetical!)
XRGB3 costs hundreds and can process composite, s-video, component, RGB, or VGA.

The XRGB-mini can handle the Dreamcast's VGA signal, but you'll have to build a sync combiner and make an adapter for it.

The mini is a lot easier to use than the XRGB-3 and is a lot more compatible.

Anyway a comb filter sounds like it'd help. Too bad even they aren't cheap these days.

Look for an 8 pin jack. Some apparent tech details here, no idea how reliable.
