Pure Speculation! How would Sega have made 8th gen console?

Were not talking about dreamcast 2 here (yet)! That came and went already.

If Sega never got out of hardware and made a console for this new gen, what would your specs be?

Given that we have now seen hardware for this next round of systems, what would have sega built?

Ram, GPU, hard drive, all that jazz

What Improvements would they have brought over from the dreamcast 2? (LOL). how would Sega do online play? They did have that head start!

Would they have Done Backwards compatibility? What would Sega's version of Their own Virtual Console be like?

Not to mention third party support. How would have Sega mended past problems with publishers?

They probably would have built something underpowered compared to the competition and only suitable for one or two particular genres of games. Their games would be close in quality to Nintendo games, but never quite the same, always missing the magic.

Fanboys would slobber over it anyway.

I say I would have been Skies of Arcadia 3. Two came out for the Dreamcast 2!

There probably would have been an HD remake of Panzer Dragoon Saga. Along with a port of PD Orta from xbox.

Almost all of the games that were on PS2/Wii/PS3/Xbox would have been exclusive to Sega and then ported over to other systems.

Open World Crazy Taxi would be nice. With mini games and Users and missions.

Virtua Fighter would have been cross platform and be able to play from either competitors systems.
