I found a really easy way to beat him with no hits, if ya want me to spoil it pm me.

Ignore me. I just realized the L trigger button shoots the other direction, and by releasing your shot, your bullets w/the red weapon will spray upward. I just need to play more and and figure stuff out. I'm slowly getting it. 5th run, stage 3 boss and just over a million, getting better.

oHHH that boss. Yeah you need red shot on him haha.

Its a good game marurn nice eye candy good music (except music on one stage) forget which one. All around polished product the Graf brothers really did their job and homework here. Even the bullets are nice looking... Has plent of stages they could of stopped this at say stay 6 and still had a nice game. Its not a bullet hell and except for some parts the game dosnt throw whole crap load at enemies at you. However there are other obstacles(traps), explosions, debris keep you on your toes. Enemy and bullet placement was taking into more consideration here instead of throwing hordes of enemies and bullets at you. Theres other stuff but i dont want to ruin anything for people who havent played it yet. Once more Dreamcast fanboys have something to brag about even if its a indie Shmups game... :P

Just saw this and yeah, I pm'd Brad this exact thing about an hour ago. Level 1 and 2 are quite easy and long, Level 3 is easy once rotating your pods becomes more second nature. Level 4 is relatively easy as well but it certainly has some hairy moments. Level 5 is tough right now - dying twice each of the last 3 runs in the first 45 seconds of that level.

I really dig the music and the art style - gorgeous game and i'm glad I have it. That said, the boss fights while really inventive at first - all have safe zones, in particular Level 4 mid-boss, which is a bit disappointing to just tuck in to an area and hold down your shot. The Octopus took all of 2 tries to find the safe path to beat him w/o taking a hit.

So now i'm 3 hours into this game and already not loving the replaying of the first 3 Levels just to get to the difficult areas of Levels 4 and 5.

First impression - 7/10. Really nice shot selections and power-ups, some scoring to be had, beautiful artwork, cool music, but not horribly difficult. There are some areas, particularly in Level 5 that i'm unable to distinguish red bullets on the orange background, but that is a minor complaint.

Finally arrived, along with Rush Rally deluxe and Fast Striker 1.5. So to answer someone's question, yes they probably put the other 2 games on a shelf (for 2 years) until sturmwind was ready to ship with it.

No not exactly. It looks (or it seems) to me like RSG was waiting on NGDev to begin reprints of their back catalog (Fast Striker) and purchased the amount needed for fulfilling those Sturmwind NGDev Fast Striker bundles that were preordered a while back.

Just last week, NGDev and Play Asia announced titles FS,GL, and LH in stock.

So what you are getting is a 2nd printing of Fast Striker (or is it 3rd, I'm honestly not sure by now) with your Sturmwind bundle.
