I lettered in football and track.

I remember some of the kids that took the football team super seriously wearing the jackets around, but there wasn't much of it.

I quit both football and track (and band!) early on, took up a job and video games for my new free time.

I'm by no means calling this woman ugly. She's really good looking. But when you put someone on a pedestal like that, as if they are perfect, I will point out the flaws I see.

You sound like you have depressive disorder or some sort of body dysmorphic problem. If I was your Half-Life HEV Mark 4 protective armour I would say in my semi-comforting robo-fem voice:

Seek medical attention.
Seek psychological counseling.
Seek physical therapy.
Seek fashion advice from a sharp dressed man.
