I've given up on getting past 6-2/6-3...it seems impossible. This is ridiculous game design at its best. I don't see how the game was designed to be beat at all, let alone mastered. I guess complaints about Ninja Gaiden is nothing new, but damn, when you really try it for yourself, it really is impossible.

Noise...you have a great list. I can vouch for eight of those games (i.e., everything except Eye of the Beholder and Killer 7), and I can assure you that you have some good times ahead of you this summer.

Keep trying. You will get it. You only have to do it once. It might also help to watch a video of someone playing through the game so that you know what to expect. (The enemies are always in the same location and react in the same way. It is hard, but you just have to memorize a path through the stage.)

Well, my limit has been reached. I actually did make it up to the final boss, but died the first time trying to beat him. So I thought, ok, they'll start me pretty close to him at this point, I mean, I did make it past 6-3...nope. Back to 6-1. That's the end of the line for me. I will NEVER play this game again. Ever. This is sadistic.

LOZ oracle of seasons.
Super Metroid
Kirby's Dream Land
If new games are allowed:
Journey
LOZ Skyward Sword
Finished Journey- AMAZING. I had one partner throughout the game I believe, it was quite the experience.
Started on Super Metroid, how long with this take me? I'll be using guides when I'm REALLY stuck but that's about it.

Just found out that to get 100% completion in Prime 3 I'm gonna need to find a European Prime 3 owner who can send me 15 friend vouchers by June 28th. I don't see this being likely

I tried out the Zero Story campaign on Megaman X4. Can't say I'm enjoying it as much as playing with X. I just feel that the game wasn't designed for close combat. I will give it another try cause I only played like 2 levels, though I might start the X campaign instead.

I'm in the 3rd world (the ship) of Donkey Kong. The levels are getting harder but also more inventive. I think this game is the definition of a cult classic, and it is a shame mainstream retro gamers don't talk about it more often.
