I think Doom 1 is a good choice, since you haven't beaten it yet.noiseredux wrote:sonofa... I feel like I don't even know you anymore. I picked up Doom 3 on the way home today and was like "now THIS is one that DSH will approve of."dsheinem wrote:Nope, none of this is in any way done well or the least bit redeeming. Otherwise, noise? I guess Doom 3 is the only one I'd really point to as questionable as a "classic" - maybe hold it for the "Month of Horror" instead?
Well... what about Doom 1 or 2? This is the LE with all 3 games. I played the first a lot in Jr. High, but it was just the shareware version, not the full game.
Fuck.
As for Madworld, eh, I think Dsh hates it a weee bit too much, but I do agree with him about it not being a 'classic'.
I don't know what else you can choose if you're set on playing something on the Wii, though. You've already got RE4 on your list, though on the Wii it's more fundamentally a lightgun game. I'd suggest No More Heroes as it's in the same vein as Madworld, but, if I recall correctly, you've already got that on PS3 (and I don't know whether that would fall under Dsh's requirements for classic). There is the Klonoa remake and the Okami port, but I don't know what you've played and they don't really fall under the beat-em-up category, if that's what you were going for.
