I don't think anyone is concerned, it's just funny.

Yeah I think a lot of people started to jump on the bandwagon for laughs once it became popular. Some people do have some honest issues with the game and legitimately so. The game is hard and sometimes you can't go where you think you are supposed to go. the Metroidvania style hasn't been done in a while so it is new to a lot of these people, especially since it was only thirty cents.

I've been playing Super Metroid for the first time like alot of these people. I haven't really had any issue what so ever aside from asking for some wall jumping tips on Miiverse. I think it is just a little sad that these people could be this clueless when it comes to playing games. *sigh*

Kudos to you then, having trouble pulling off the wall jump is legit. That can definitely take awhile to get used to.

Even on the SNES the wall jump takes some practice.

Honestly, when I first encountered it I thought it was a glitch and argued about it with a friend of mine (who was also playing it for the first time at the same time).

I think a lot of people forget that plenty of gamers had difficulty with these games even back in the day. The difference is that before there was help easily available on the internet, I'd often give up on a game if I got really stuck and move on to something else. Now I can ask for help instead of leaving the game incomplete. And seriously, wec should be glad kids are playing classics like Super Metroid at all.

Yeah it is definitely great that people are actually playing these classics and have an avenue to ask for help. No arguments there.
