JP: The Lost World for Mega Drive $17.36 shipped from the UK.

My inspiring story: I decided I wanted this game a while back but anything on ebay was at least $20.00 shipped for cart only. Complete and including hang tab I was looking at $50.00. Well, I was clearly not gonna bite at the going rate. Elected to hunker down and wait for an auction. Checked every day and eventually one appears beginning at .99p. I watched it creep up over the week and on the night it was due to finish I logged into ebay to psyche up at T minus 2 hours. It was up to about $11.00 or so. Anyway, one final search at this point showed me that one had just been put up for BIN 5.99 pounds! I clicked away and my cheap game arrived yesterday!

Also decided I'm gonna give my daughter a game boy advance SP for her birthday. So from a pawn shop today I grabbed Catz and Dogz Fashion for the GBA, complete for $6.00 each. They have a few more games in the series which I might go back for and also some pony sim.

Found Clay Fighter Sculptors Cut for 3 bucks at a local store.

I had no idea this was worth so much. I thought it was uncommon, but this is like upper $100s online.
Very cool!

Forgot about another awesome find. Got Resident Evil for the GameCube CIB for $3 and it had a spare super smash bros melee disc in it :). Sadly they both are pretty badly scratched up and wont read, but that's why I have a disc resurfacing machine :). Should be able to save smash bros. for sure RE disc 1 might be to far gone though no deep scratches but it has some really weird wear on the disc :P.

Posted this over in the "other consoles" section, but I feel this is worthy of being posted here:

Neo geo MVS cab with metal slug 5 $200
Saw this posted on craigslist in the "collectables" section for 250 with a green screen issue (either a simple fix, or a board replacement, not bad though) and I figured I could talk him down to at least $200. Called him up and found out that he lived about an hour away, and got some quick details about the cab. After that I called up my only friend with a truck and we were on our way as soon as I got off work. Thanks to my GPS on my phone, we got lost, and taken on a very long, and wrong route. I lost reception some time before we realized we were lost, so I couldnt re route directions or anything, and we could not call the guy, we were way out in the sticks. We stopped at a horse ranch to ask for directions, and learned we were about 5 miles or so off track, so we headed for the highway. My friend was able to get reception just long enough to make a call to the dude to find out where to go, and we were back on track.

Finally get to the place, and this guy has a garage full of cabs, jammed in as tightly as possible, there were some good ones, and some crap ones. Most were very weathered, and would need a lot of TLC to get back to looking good. Some notable cabs were Capcom vs SNK, Street fighter 2 (in some "Z" shaped cab" and 2 versions of "Raiden" a shump I can only assume based on the vertical monitors. I thought these were cool, but I was there for 1 cab only, the MVS. after talking for a little bit, I was satisfied with the condition of the cab, and went in for my offer of $200, and after he acted like he wasnt going to take it, he agreed. Loaded it up and took the easy way back home. I have started tearing it down to restore it, and hope to have it looking good soon to keep my MAME cab company.

That's awesome! Always nice to get an arcade cab, especially an MVS.

just curious, what resurfacing machine do you have? i bought a JFJ Easy Pro not too long ago and it's doing okay. it doesn't really want to work super well with the "resurfacing" part, but it buffs and polishes really well. i haven't bought the gamecube disc attachment yet, though.

Went to what I would consider one of the only true thrift stores in my area today. Last time I overpaid for some stuff so I hadn't been back in about a month. Well this time I scored.

For $14 I got
1 Nintendo brand Wii Fit Balance Board- $3
1 Intec Wii Balance Board- $3
Big Buck Hunter Pro CIB with Gun (Wii)- $5
Roller Coaster Tycoon CIB(Xbox)- $3
