A lot of DS/3DS ports to Wii U would work very well. Same goes Wii U to 3DS despite the immense graphical downgrade.

I haven't played it myself, but the controls for Kid Icarus Uprising are quite polarizing. I'd imagine an HD version of that would work well. Want Dual analog control? Go for it. Wiimote and nunchuk? You can have it. Using the stylus or your finger to aim? Why not?

Yea.. Kid Icarus Uprising was fun, but I could not finish it. Left handed. Did not want to get a CPP just to play it. I don't think it was a good PORTABLE game with that control setup. They included that stand for a reason.

Interesting that you say that. I was looking at buying Kid Icarus Uprising and a CPP recently - mostly because I was looking at buying Monster Hunter aswell. Being left handed would a CPP really help? I couldnt finish Metroid First Hunt or the DS Zeldas because of my left handedness.

With a CPP your right hand would control movement and your left hand would control the camera via stylus. Certainly better though movement with the right circle pad seems a bit odd. Without the CPP your left hand controls movement, like in 99% of games out there, and the right hand, your weaker hand, controls the camera via stylus. I feel like a 2 year old with a pencil when trying to control the camera with my right hand via stylus.

I WOULD consider a CPP for Kid Icarus if it provided us with a more conventional control scheme. Left circle pad for movement and right for camera. :(

That all depends if you think you'd be comfortable moving a character with your right hand. It generally seems a little lefty unfriendly to me.

It's a shame, because absolutely adore that game. Being right handed helps though.

Move with right hand is a no buy for me. Thanks for the heads up fellas.

On the flipside, I found a way that I can play Metroid Hunters:

Mouse and Keyboard support is a wonderful reason for emulators

You mean I can't just use the face buttons for movement like in M: Prime Hunters?

I'm a lefty as well. How lame. I was wanting Kid Icarus.

Actually, using the face buttons to move IS an option. If you didn't mind that in Metroid Prime Hunters, then you should be fine for KI: Uprising

Well, good luck. :P the ABXY buttons are fine for games that use the d-pad. Did that on a regular DS game or two. But to replace a circle pad? Eh.
