Man I used to love playing Super Mario Kart while drunk with friends. Playing rainbow road or the ghost levels is hilarious. Goldeneye 64 was also awesome.

How is having 7 beer and some gin not drunk?
Yeah, you aren't staggering drunk, but I mean... you must at least have a buzz going on.

I had a few last night. Played some arcade Turtles in Time and X-Men on MAME on X-Box. Both with 4-players. Then a couple of the guys ate some pizza, we me and the other guy left cruised through R-Type Leo.

I left when they put Otomedius Excellent on (360). That game blows. I usually like Konami shooters, but I just can't get into that one.

Indefinite articles are confusing.

I hear ya Bree - 7+1 over 2.5 hours had me buzzed but not drunk. I'm 6' and 200lbs. I would like to think I can hold my own when it comes to drinking. Only reason I was able to get together drinking with my pals - something I do maybe twice a year is because my wife and kids took off for a few days for Easter.

Anyways - as I said goodtimes were had. Kinda brings me back to college.

Good stuff! It's funny how responsibilities take over when you get older, eh?

Glad you enjoyed your 7+1. Cherish that stuff!

I just got my friend (who can't handle alcohol really) a little drunk and asked him what he wanted to play. He said NES SHMUP!
So I loaded up Gannac and I think the drunk made him better!
He kicked so much ass, that I've never seen that level before - We've both played it sober so many times.
Later we played Legendary Wings to great success.
I'm purposely bumping the topic for more posts and to let it be known that a little drunk makes you know you're drunk so you're more cautious.
Pass me the keys!

Got drunk and gamed last night. Really got into 3 player NBA Jam: TE on the Mega Drive. Had the speed all the way up and the bonus stuff turned on and it was awesome if a tad fast and confusing. Hit up a bit of MK2 as well, and some WCW NWO Revenge on N64 (sucks).

A few years back my roommate and I were a bit lit up and decided to play Ninja Gaiden (NES). Dying on the final boss and ending up at the beginning of the game had us both screaming obscenities at the screen. It was the angriest experience I think i've had in my life.

We used to play Marble Blast Ultra (XBL) too, but that was also a terrible choice.

NHL 9X on the Genesis with four people is always a good time. The Katamari games can be a lot of fun too.
