I bought myself a Playstation 2 last November. I've been digging through some of the cool retro and arcade compilations.
My woman bought me a wii for Christmas. She left a little note in the box that said:
I hope this is obsolete enough for you.
Merry Christmas
I love you
Isn't my woman great?
So now I have two console libraries to explore. Both systems are in low demand right now, so the games are cheap as can be. It pays to stay one console generation behind.

Ha, awesome.
After I proposed to my fiancée, she declared that my "gift" - to "make up" for the engagement ring - would be a Wii.
3DS shiny blue in box with everything, probably over 6 months ago now, wonderful condition, impulse buy coz it was $100. Have probably played it for an hour all up. Have, however, been giving my GBA SP a thrashing!
My playstation vita on black Friday. It was a pretty good buy and I have enjoyed playing God Eater, P4G, VLR and touch my katamari. Despite what most people will say, there are some pretty good games on the system.
I picked up a Gamecube about a month ago, I've barely played any Gamecube games on it though because I bought the Gameboy Player attacement before the first full week was out.
