Without a shadow of a doubt the best place to buy comics online is:

http://www.comiccollectorlive.com

HUGE selection from multiple sellers. Well graded by most sellers (as it's a big deal to the community there). Long-time established sellers with long history and good reputation which you can see with their rating system.

But more importantly than all that it's CHEAP! I constantly buy issues there because I can get NM issues for under $1 all the time. And they sellers there usually have free shipping after buying a certain amount (anywhere from $15-$50 depending on the seller, my favorite seller gives me free shipping at $30).

Aside from buying comics, it also has a great online comic community, and even has organization software for your collection (including not only comics, but also genre magazines, trade paperbacks and graphic novels, trading cards, gaming cards, and statues; pretty much anything you'd find in a comic shop).

Sweet! Thanks for the post. It seems they didn't have what I wanted anyway, so hopefully I have a good experience with tfaw.com. For those interested I got this:

Thanks a bunch for this dude! I'm gonna have to mine this site. I'm already impressed because there's a very large selection of the Sonic comics, and I have some serious gaps in that series that need filling.

No problem. For lots of cheap issues I'd recommend the following sellers:

-Alpha Comics
-Bamf's
-Blue Moon Comics

They're my go to sellers for back-issues.

Thought it was AWESOME! A young Thor battling a young (yet still very powerful) Apocalypse in the past! Epic battle issue!

I've never been a big X-Men fan, but I've always been a sucker for Apocalypse related stuff. And I've always been an Avengers fan. So I just couldn't pass this storyline up. And then after you read it, you see that it not only involves Apocalypse, but also Kang the Conqueror! Arguably The Avengers greatest villain!

Can't wait to see what happens next! Between this storyline, The Worlds Colliding storyline over in New Avengers, and Age of Ultron going on; I'm one happy Avengers fan!

Who else read it? What did everyone else think?

Racketeers, I just bought my first comic ever.

Well, technically that's a lie. I bought some Dark Horse Star Wars comic years ago but never opened the cover. I've never read a comic book, but for some reason I've always been interested in them. I've always been intrigued when reading the random postings about comic books here on Racketboy. I've learned of comic books based off of things I like, like TV series and whatnot. Today, I finally decided to give one a try. I got this:
I thought the stories sounded cool, the reviews made it sound good, and the art looks nice. Hopefully I'll like it, as I don't know if I'm a comic book person yet.

Had a great experience. Best price I could find and quick shipping. Would definitely recommend them to anyone buying comics online. I also quite enjoyed the opening act of the 4-part arc of The Last of Us prequel comic that I got.

PLEASE tell me somebody else read this, here. Such an amazingly, epic, and satisfying end to an amazing (and long) run.

At first I was like "EIGHT DOLLARS?!" But then after I read it, I realized it was more than worth the entry price. (And the thickest single-issue, non-prestige format, comic I have ever seen!)

Incredible, epic story. A fantastic tribute to the character of Hal Jordan and the mythos that Geoff Johns laid down for the GL Universe.

I've got to say, in the main-story at least, Sinestro shined even more than Hal did.

And what a classy act by DC to give Geoff Johns the respect he deserves on what will likely go down as one of the greatest runs in comic history.

Any fan of Green Lantern, or super-hero comics at all, NEEDS to go out and read this comic. This is why we read comics!

Unlike the first Countdown, which set up all the backstory the film didn't have time for, this one had relatively little to do with the plot of Into Darkness other than explaining a couple of minor plot points. That said, it is a very good story that's worth reading for fans of the Abramsverse.
