So what you're saying is that, with a cat, I won't need someone to support me in my old age because I'll never make it to that depressing stage of my life, and they'll even handle getting rid of my dead body?Stark wrote:The chances that you have a cat that will grow up to be a successful doctor/lawyer/etc. and support you in your old age are slim to none. Aren't people that kill children really looked down upon in prison, or is that just movie and urban legend silliness?Ack wrote:Admittedly though, an angry general population might also decide to take him out on there own, especially if he does something stupid.

Generally yes, child killers are often harassed by the rest of the prison population, but outright killing without a reason doesn't happen that often. For instance, Jeffrey Dahmer was murdered in prison not because of his crimes but because he made a racist insult to an African American inmate.Hobie-wan wrote:Aren't people that kill children really looked down upon in prison, or is that just movie and urban legend silliness?Ack wrote:Admittedly though, an angry general population might also decide to take him out on there own, especially if he does something stupid.
The American prison system also houses some radicalized Muslim inmates, which have taken the opportunity to recruit and convert others. It is certainly possible that, depending on the population and demographics of the prison he is sent to, he may well be protected by others on the inside.

Or you could NOT bank on sponging off your kids in old age and actually plan for retirement. That way you're covered in case of your kid hating you/emigrating to Mars/becomes a Herald of Galactus.Stark wrote:The chances that you have a cat that will grow up to be a successful doctor/lawyer/etc. and support you in your old age are slim to none. Well as much as I would love her to have super abilities, the mortality rate among the Hearlds of Galactus seems to be staggeringly high. I'm gonna have to put my foot down on that one.MrPopo wrote:Or you could NOT bank on sponging off your kids in old age and actually plan for retirement. Smile: Got done with school pretty early, and registered my 3DS and Luigi's Mansion on Club Nintendo so I could get Star Fox for free.
Ticked: It's quite cold and I wanted to go out and do things today. Oh well.

Art shows are also great places to meet girls. I already talked to some of my old graffiti friends and have space in their next show. My little sisters girlfriend goes to MCAD which is a fancy art school and she said I can use her space at the year end gallery sale thing they have. This is going to be an interesting summer I think.
