My last console which I picked up a few months back was an Atari 2600. Actually bought two lots from a guy with 3 Atari 2600s a woody, vader, and jr. along with around 40 games, a couple manuals, an atari plug and play tv game, and two dead power cords :P for around $100. Been putting off buying a new cord for a while now should get around to picking up one soon.

The last 2 I bought were actually replacement consoles, because my originals either broke or wore out: Sega Saturn and TurboGrafx-16.

The last actual new console I got was a Nintendo Wii.

Picked up a black Gamecube at the Goodwill yesterday for $6. Not my first GC, by any means.

Bought a boxed Dreamcast from JM and Hobie's sale thread. I already own a DC, now I have a practically new back-up :D

Shortly before that I picked up a DS, first time owning that, and I'm happy with it so far.

Just bought an SNES2. If I'm gonna add Component, I might as well add it to the best quality video. $40 with one controller, power brick and AV cord. Not great, but not bad.

Edit: Just a day or two ago I got a NGPC from Jmustang and Hobie. That's a first-time acquisition for me.
Gunning for a licensed NES NTSC-U set, follow the madness and poverty here!
Cheat sheet of my collection, always looking to increase it. 405/677 licensed games, 46/"95" unlicensed

A 360 was given to me not long ago, but the last console I purchased was a Model 1 Sega Saturn which, so far, has been nothing but awesome. I only have a few, but my favorite Saturn game of the ones I've played is probably Robotica. I love the idea of an FPS where the levels are randomly generated each time so you can't simply memorize where everything is. Even though it's not much to look at, Virtual Hydlide seems like one I'd enjoy for the same reason, so as soon as I have some spare cash again, it'll be right near the top of my pick-up list.
I'm not a glitch, I just have pixlexia.

Consoles purchased in 2013: Tandy Color Computer (Model 2), Commodore 16, Commodore Amiga CD32.

My father also gave me a Nintendo 64 of mysterious origin.
