I like my bacon where the edges are crispy but the inside is chewy.
Older. Not wiser.

I used to work at a papa johns a few years ago. The pepperoni only goes under the cheese if you get more than one topping.
Anyway screw that while chain. I did quit in a pretty fun way at least. I started calling everything and everyone Bruce until the manager couldn't take it anymore one day and told me I can either go home or stop saying Bruce. Needless to say I refused to let him silence my freedom of Bruce, which I told him he couldn't do. I also counted out how many pepperonis I was putting on pizzas like the count from seasame street and there's like 70 pepperoni on pepperoni pizza.

Word. Crispy bacon is great. Not so much that it cracks apart, but firm enough to stay straight when held.AppleQueso wrote:undercooked bacon is all rubbery and not pleasant

I remember when I talked to my dad about this. He immediately flew off the handle and started screaming at me and saying "you don't need any damn counseling", "Suck it up", "If you need to talk to somebody, then just f*ing talk to me". He stormed out and came back later that day and tore up the paperwork I needed to see the counselor.SamuraiMegas wrote:Talked to my parents about going to a therapist.
Something tells me I'm gonna get smothered by them.
Take this into consideration:
From birth to 14yrs I lived with my grandparents
I grew up surrounded by drug dealers and alcoholics.
My dad/mom were people that showed up every now and then to say hi.
I had just moved in with my dad earlier that year (6 months or so?).
Be grateful if they smother you, at least they show that they care.
Disclaimer: My dad really did care, but he was raised in a similar situation. He thought by sending me to a counselor that he was failing me even more so than he already had. He regrets doing it today. We both had a lot of growing to do...

Every time I see a pepperoni pizza, '24..16..8" echos in my head. I wasted 3 years working there, and my first manager made us count/measure the toppings like we were on sesame st. I do miss that shenanigans that we used to do in the mornings though. Ever put the dough on the top of a hot vehicle? That stuff ate the paint off once the sun dried it.

Why the hell would you do that?
Old time pizza makers used to do this. It's still common place on Silician style square pizza's or Detroit style pizza's, but the slices of peperoni are thicker. So, they get get cooked, but not charred.
