Maybe if you are comparing them to other chains and/or fast food places, but as someone who has had many wings in and around various establishments in Buffalo and CNY and now enjoys some the best wings I've ever had from a place nearby, BWW wings' are indeed quite detestable.

Repeated tire kickers on sales threads. Certain people add a bunch of items. Then wittle down the list a few times, then try to work down the price and squabble over each one to finally not buy anything after all. Repeat offenses on several of my sales threads have frustrated me.

How does Papa Johns even exist in NYC?

Mostly in Brooklyn, I think, where there is less crowding. In my neighborhood, you either get ridiculously overpriced but good pizza, really bad and moderately priced pizza, or bland but cheap Papa Johns. The middle option is never an option, and the former is only a treat, leaving the latter for quick, $1 bites when you're in a hurry. Thankfully, there's a proper 99c Pizza place in Manhattan whose pizza slices are much, much better.
