I have nothing against Fandango, but the very fact that he got a Mania match with Jericho after being on TV for roughly a month and not even competing just makes me want to hate him. And I don't mean hate him because he's a heel, but genuinely hate him
Isn't that what happened to Brock Lesnar? He was the "fastest rising young superstar of all time" or something like that and then decided to quit while he was at the top only 2 years after that. From what I've heard that made the people at WWE scared of doing something like that again.
Well, atleast Brock Lesnar is a beast and a credible threat, as he was really muscular and had a background in amateur wrestling. A dancing male wrestler certainly isn't (with the possible exception of Rikishi).

Now that I think about it, I think Kurt Angle rose to the top quite quickly too. But like Lesnar, he is a genuinely good wrestler and on top of that had the novelty of being an olympic winner, great mic skills and was a great&entertaining heel pretty much from the day he debuted.
My WTB thread (Sega CD/Saturn games)
Also looking to buy: Ys III (TG-16 CD), Shadowrun (Genesis) Hori N64 mini pad and Slayer (3DO) in long box/just the long box

RAW just provided a more exciting moment than Wrestlemania.

and I don't think Angle got a huge push to start, but he just rose up fast because they and the crowd realized how good he was. Sort of like the Rock after he became the Rock afer the backlash from his initial huge push, which I could see happening with the Fandago dude.

We've seen guys get pushed quickly before, but showing up on TV and not wrestling, and then getting a Mania match against a future hall of famer in like a month? That's crazy. Realistically, if you were a guy of Jericho's status, would you have a Mania match with a nobody like Fandango? I'm speaking in terms of kayfabe. Why would a character lower himself to that? It doesn't even make sense. It's just crazy. Speaking of crazy...

This crowd on Raw

Anyway, possible good news for the women's division

"- WWE has reportedly
signed Irish women's wrestler Rebecca Knox to a developmental deal. She
debuted back in 2002 but retired in 2008 after an injury. She returned
to the ring in October 2012 and has competed for top women's promotions
including SHIMMER. She also has experience in personal training,
nutrition consulting, yoga, mixed martial arts, gymnastics, acting and
stunt work.

Rebecca told The Herald newspaper in Ireland: "I want
to make the most of this opportunity. Sheamus has shown that Irish
pro-wrestlers can go all the way to the top."" - allwrestling.com

Great moment, wish ADR/Swagger had the same match at Mania so the cash-in would have made sense (the injury mainly) there.

Wow. That's the most talking Rybak has ever done...and I liked it. It's like they actually had a long term story line for the guy. Nice. More of this Rybak please.

Also, I laughed at Ziggler's "Cool story bro". Such a troll
