Smile: Pringles just stopped by with Road Rash 64 and Goemon's Great Adventure. He paid three bucks for both and insisted I accept them as a gift. Both games work and are in great condition. ...and after checking ebay, looks like he made out like a bandit.
Smile: Mowed the lawn, edged, blew off the clippings, and besides having to run by the bank, my day is wide open. Will probably take the wife to Pirate Fest later this afternoon.

Why not look for a job that isn't a retail/food service type of job?REPO Man wrote:Just heard from Target about the job application I filed and they're not able to hire me at the moment. I guess they didn't have any positions in the areas I applied for. I mean, the sign on the door didn't really specify WHERE in the store they were hiring.
It's been almost half a month since I applied to Domino's Pizza and heard nothing from them. And I know they're still hiring because the sign's still on the window.
Still gotta look into a few other job-ops. Walmart's just on one end of the Lynx Link that's just outside of the gate.

Which Target did you apply to? I know a couple of people who work at I think the one on Colonial.

Smile: Going to see The Croods later today. My niece already saw it and wants to see it again, so we're taking her with us.

I'm just looking for something nearby and those are pretty much all the jobs I can find.dsheinem wrote: Why not look for a job that isn't a retail/food service type of job?
I would love to be able to find something else, but I'd probably have to go into the city area for that, and without a vehicle, all that's left is the bus and my bike.
The one in Kissimmee across the road from where the Publix is, about 1.6 miles from my home in Vista Del Lago.o.pwuaioc wrote:Which Target did you apply to? I know a couple of people who work at I think the one on Colonial.
There are a few more if I'm willing to go farther, like about 8-12 miles away. But I'm just looking for something nearby.

That's not going to be an easy hurdle to clear in the interview process. Best of luck man.REPO Man wrote:...without a vehicle...

Do you have a licensee? Maybe there's a car you can borrow for a bit until you snag something for basic transportation?Luke wrote:That's not going to be an easy hurdle to clear in the interview process. Best of luck man.REPO Man wrote:...without a vehicle...

I don't have a license. And I know someone with a vehicle (my bro's ex's grandparents), but they both work. But their granddaughter has a license or a permit.
