Ok, here is what I kept from the big lot:

Image
Image
Image

CIB CDX - Perhaps my favorite retro system, I had to have a boxed version. I am debating selling my other CDX...

Image
Image

CIB Duo RX - I have a TG16 with CD Unit, but this is my first Duo. I will probably need to go grab some of the must have PC Engine games now to go with it.

Image

Platinum Gamecube with Digital Out - I only kept because the Plat GC I have didn't have the digital out.

Image

Pink GBC with carrying case - It is in nice shape. Something I will probably give my daughter when she gets older.

Image

Links Awakening and Advance Wars are for me. The Disney game goes to my niece and nephew.

Image

Mace and Hexen are new, Turok 3 is a label upgrade

Image

Intec PS2 screen - has S-Video and is great for console testing. Not sure if I will ever use as a portable screen lol

Image

PS2 Games - Front Mission 4 and Castle Shikigami 2 are sealed. They all fill holes in the collection

Image

SNES games - I only had the Gen versions of the Strike games. Mario AS is a label upgrade

Image

Ogre Battle and Tactics Ogre I am keeping because I love the series and will just be collection pieces. The other 2 games I am giving my brother in law

Image

These all fill holes in the collection. Lord of Arcana is sealed. I love the C&C series, so looked like a good keep.

I also kept two GBA SPs and a handful of games plus a fat PS2 and about 6 games for niece and nephew as well.

Just remember that the surge suppression ability wouldn't work any more, so it would just be a multiplier. Last time I looked on ebay for grins on the strip people were asking $75+ and that was maybe 7 or 8 years ago.

Because surge suppression works with a battery?...

I see. It's the MOV that wears out.

Thanks for the link. Very interesting... ^^

Also, I read the small part on the right. From what I can tell it's best to buy a UPS when protecting a PC and not an SPS. I'm asking because I can use one of these. Every time my fridge 'pops' my PC shuts down, which does not seem very healty to me. So I guess both would protect against surges, but only one would give me the time to let me shut down my PC decently in case of a power outage. Or is that cutover delay so small that your PC won't lose power?...

I use mine when monitoring direct installs with HDAdvance/HDLoader and keeping the TV freed up. This works great when used with a Guncon video cable adapter, Composite for the little screen and Component 480p for the HD CRT both hooked up at the same time. :D
