The way the movie, which of course is a musical, puts acting ahead of singing was a bold and very wise move. LE MISERABLES deserves all the praise it received.

Dear sweet baby Jesus:

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1995346/

You've got to watch the trailer. And by "you" I mean specifically you.

Do you have any idea how many great scripts I read a year that will never go into production? Well, not many, but the fact this movie was made is gonzo bananas. I have zero hopes that this will be awesomely bad, as the only thing worse than Chris Kattan is two Chris Kattans.

Might watch some soft gay porn later today, aka TOP GUN.

Having watched the trailer, I honestly believe that getting a stomach virus, vomiting my guts out into a bathtub while screaming from burning diarrhea, then passing out in a pool of my own puke and feces, only to be discovered by my girlfriend's parents whom I have never met coming to see me for the first time would be better than seeing that movie.

So should I care about this upcoming "Oblivion" film? I like sci-fi, I can stomach Cruise, but I don't know anything about Kosinsky beyond that he made that shitty Tron sequel.

That is a great/terrible visual. I feel that way about a lot of movies, some of which have significant fan clubs on these very forums...

On topic - sort of - I have gone three-for-three with some excellent films lately, and I plan to do a short blurb on each soon. (The films are A Colt Is My Passport (1967), True Grit (1969), and Beauty and the Beast (1946).)

Why did you think it was shitty? The original Tron is one of my all time favorite movies and I thought the sequel was awesome and the tv series was good too.

I'm much more interested in Elysium, but I'd watch Oblivion. I didn't see the new Tron movie.

The best part is that the link at the bottom of the trailer about "People who liked this film also liked..." links only to the same film.

I don't care for the original and I hate how Daft Punk have gotten famous by ripping off Kanye West.

Well, there are plenty of "After Earth's Armageddon" sci-fi movies coming out this Summer that don't involve Morgan Freeman explaining the movie to you and a thousand close-ups of Tom Cruise's face.
