Great, inspiring article. I'm going to try some of his games. The execution isn't top-notch but i appreciate a fresh concept over the industry-driven hype not only in games but in movies and stuff.

Only One Copy Of This Game Exists
Re: Only One Copy Of This Game Exists
Very likely, yes. One of the definitions would be "games exist to be played". Of course there's a bit more to it, but it suffices for now because here we have something that can't be played and has never been played, assuming it even exists in the first place. So really, what is there to be giving out awards for?lisalover1 wrote:You and I have very different definitions of "The point of actual games", my friend.Ghegs wrote:I would call that "the most artsy-fartsy bullshit I've seen in a long time", but then, I generally dislike the whole "games are art"-scene because they keep missing the point of actual games, and this one misses it on an astronomical scale.
What he has done, though, is push the start button on the world's largest geocache chase. That's pretty cool in itself. But I wouldn't really count geocaching as a game. And because of my geographical location I can't even partake in the metagame of searching for it.

This dude and this game reek of pretentiousness. I couldn't even finish the article.
